Pu'u O Hoku Ranch's old-style Hawaiian lodge and cottages sit atop hills gently rising from the sea, surrounded by gardens and spectacular ocean views. Besides hosting retreats, Pu'u O Hoku is a working organic ranch, HOFA certified for beef, vegetables, fruit and awa. Caring for the land is at the heart of our operations, as we believe that through nourishing the land we ultimately nourish all life and the Spirit.
Miles of safe hiking trails are available throughout the ranch. Horseback trail rides are available to our guests from our own stables. Delightful white sand beaches are a close drive away.
Yoga instruction, healing therapies and all kinds of outdoor activities are available on request to increase the experience of retreat and renewal.
The Lodge has 11 bedrooms, sleeping up to 22 people. The 2 adjacent cottages sleep up to 10 additional people.
Dining facilities easily feed 32 people. Our in-house chef prepares all meals with produce from our farm. Fresh, local fish and our own certified organic beef are available on request. We work closely with Retreat leaders to provide optimal nourishment to guests.
There are a number of spaces available throughout the Ranch for meetings and workshops. The Lodge itself includes a Great Room where most teachers choose to hold their events. Adjacent to this space is a large, covered lanai, great for informal meetings and lounging. There is also a smaller meeting space in our Grove Cottage, as well as an outdoor deck for yoga or as an additional meeting area.
